Bayern Munich player Thomas Muller praised Al-Ahly after beating him on Monday in the FIFA Clubs World Cup.
Bayern Munich beat Al-Ahly with two unanswered goals in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals.
Mueller told “BN Sports” after the match: “We are pleased to qualify for the final. Al-Ahly is like Bayern Munich in Egypt and it is a big team and has great fans.”
The German player continued, “It is interesting to qualify for the final and our biggest goal is to win the title to reach the sixth.”
And he added, “We were the best in the match and we should have scored the second goal early, but in the end we deserved the victory and Al-Ahly was a very good opponent.”
Regarding the meeting and organization stadium, he said: “The stadium is wonderful and everything is wonderful, and it will be special to come back here in the 2022 World Cup.”
Bayern are preparing to meet Tigres Unal of Mexico next Thursday in the World Cup final.
