This waste dumper had not thought carefully when he left his household waste behind in the nature at the Kerkeindse Heide in Moergestel on Saturday afternoon. His address and phone number were buried in the rubble next to a pram.
Boas of the SSIB (Together strong in Brabant) found the mountain of waste on the Seebrechtsedijk. They spoke of an ‘anti-social dumping’, because it was in the middle of the forest path. Judging from the tracks, a trailer had been used.
They searched the dumped household goods and found chairs, a basket and even a pram. What the owner of the unwanted waste had probably forgotten: it also contained an address and telephone number. Because it presumably concerned the details of the waste dump truck, they called him. Not knowing that the enforcers were trying to reach him, he answered. He was given an ultimatum from them and was given the opportunity to clean up his dumping before 6 p.m.
He promised to come, so he wouldn’t be charged any cleaning fees. In the end he didn’t show up anyway. He did not give a reason for this.
The police therefore sends him a hefty fine. The cleaning costs will also be recovered from him. The case is further under investigation by the police.
Easter tour moved
The signs on the trees indicate that an Easter tour is being held this weekend on this path. Unfortunately, the mess can only be cleaned up on Tuesday and the Easter walkers have to walk around the waste.
