However, the Ajax player is on his way back, although he cannot yet stand completely unprotected on the training field. On social media you can see how Mazraoui wears sports glasses, as we saw earlier with Edgar Davids and most recently with Nicolás Tagliafico.

Tadić has also been included in the UEFA Team of the Week.
Ten Hag has a nice milestone up for grabs
Should Ajax beat AS Roma in the quarter finals of the Europa League on Thursday, Erik ten Hag will have won five consecutive European matches as Ajax’s coach. And that is special, it reports Algemeen Dagblad, because Louis van Gaal did that for the last time. “Van Gaal succeeded from April to October 1995, including the 1-0 victory in the CL final over AC Milan,” said the newspaper. Earlier this calendar year, Ten Hag won twice against Lille OSC and Young Boys.
Ajax plays twice in European outfit against AS Roma
Ajax will be admired against AS Roma in both matches in black with a gold European outfit, the club announced on Thursday via Twitter. The available kits of both clubs conflict and so it was decided to let both teams play in the third kit. This therefore applies to the home game in Amsterdam, but also to the return in Rome.

Arsenal fans react to ‘Ajax’ shirt
There has been a lot of commotion on Twitter among Arsenal fans about the new home shirt for the coming season. The new outfit, that through Footy Headlines was leaked, shows a lot of similarities with that of Ajax. “No European football next season, so they make us look like Ajax, so that we think we still play in Europe …” is one of the reactions.
Eight points needed for the championship
The national championship of Ajax is almost certain. The gap to numbers two and three, PSV and AZ, is currently eleven points, while the team from Amsterdam still has a catch-up match against FC Utrecht. For example, Ajax has fourteen loss points less and therefore still needs eight points to officially add the title.
Because the goal difference of Ajax (+65) is many times better than that of PSV (+32) and AZ (+26), even seven points would be enough. When Ajax, like the competition, continues to win in the coming matches, Ajax-AZ will be the championship match on April 25.
Rus Karasev whistles Ajax-Roma
The Russian Sergei Karasev whistles next Thursday’s game against AS Roma. The Russian previously whistled the Champions league home game against FC Midtjylland, which was won 3-1. The game with AS Roma starts on Thursday evening at 9:00 PM.
Scherpen impressed Petr Čech.
Edwin Van der Sar shared with The Telegraph an anecdote about it Kjell Scherpen after his debut against SC Heerenveen. The day before the nerve-racking Champions League match Chelsea-Ajax (4-4), Kjell Scherpen was discussed during a meeting between Van der Sar and Petr Cech, former top keepers of respectively Manchester United and Chelsea. When Čech asked who this goalkeeper was, after he walked past, Van der Sar replied: “A talent.” According to Čech, this had to be a top goalkeeper in potential because of Scherpen’s build and length.
